My new shoes.

Standard

Just for Sara. Yes, I can walk in them. No, they are not my running shoes. They are adistar salvation. Shoe fetishists: don’t get too excited.

A hard day at the office today – Had to run the case conference. Good that boss entrusted me to task, but hard going running a meeting for 3 hours, discussing 26 “customers” and keeping everyone (including myself) focussed.

After work – 4km time trial. Needed to retire 2 km in. Reasons:

  1. Blister killin me
  2. went out too hard
  3. cannot psychologically deal with 2 pb’s in a week.

So I was a late scratching.

Have given up on Calorieking for the moment – very time consuming. Now know what is calorie laden and I know that I spend waaaaaaay too many calories on snacks and probably eat too little at meals. So I am now eating my home made banana muffins for snacks; they are healthy and I know what is in them.

better go now, keep making typos and I think it may be something to do with the 2 glasses of wine at dinner 🙂

addit 2221 hrs: had better get back on with calorie king. am still eating too many crappy snax.

  1. *sigh* it is always a real battle for us coaches to get the runners to do the time trials, I really must get Brian to stop putting them on the plan so we can spring them at random 😉

Nice shoes, but I’ll be buggered if I could walk in them, I gave up heels when I took up running, to scared I’d turn an ankle 🙄

  2. Oooh very nice Cil. Mine are a little bit higher. Must get a picture and put on the blog!

I was looking at my collection the other day and I don’t think I’ve got any heels that are less than 4″ 😯

  3. how on earth do you walk in those?! i’m flat shoes all the way. i need to get places fast – impossible to do in heels! i don’t wear heels unless absolutely necessary… like going to a weddings (!). i too am scared of rolling an ankle… or tripping down stairs! maybe that is because i am a clutz though ;o
